The sea on the South English coast is really beginning to get cold now...it inspires me beyond even my own comprehension.

"This is my crazy, fabulous, strong, funny life long exceptional friend Jodi Merrett Whitby. She has a deep relationship with nature and takes school kids into the woodlands each week because the British government values that all children need regular nature contact. So she tromps them into the woods to build camps, watch wildlife, cook on a fire and all the good stuff.
Jodi has a slightly obsessive relationship with the ocean and that is what prompted this post because I just had to share this video of Jodi swimming in the FREEZING English sea with you all. (She does this regularly). Jodi also paints the ocean and I think her paintings are mind blowing... only someone who knows the ocean like that, who goes to fully immerse themselves in it could paint it in such depth I think.
