Texture and colour inspired by the natural world. These pieces were created by adding layer upon layer of acrylic paint.  Repeatedly letting it dry and then scraping it back - landscapes would appear! Often I would let the summer rain wash it away again. It was a process that drew me in readily and relaxed me in a way I hadn't imagined it would. I love how hidden worlds beneath were revealed.
